Utility for creation bootable FAT disk
This utility creates a bootable FAT filesystem and populates it
with files and boot tools.
It was mainly designed to create bootable USB and Fixed disk
for the AdvanceCD project (http://advancemame.sourceforge.net), but
can be successfully used separately for any purposes.
makebootfat is a command line tool part of the AdvanceCD
project able to make bootable FAT filesystems.
It runs in Linux, Windows and in all the other
Unix like platforms.
The official site of AdvanceCD and makebootfat is:
1. Extract contents of the image */images/diskboot.img (from an appropriate
distribution) to a directory, for example /tmp/imagedir/ .
2. Note, that ldlinux.sys file from diskboot.img is unusable for makebootfat
(because it is already prepared some way). You have to use
either ldlinux.bss and ldlinux.sys from /usr/share/makebootfat directory,
or obtain newer ones from the correspond "syslinux" ta
