Regina Rexx interpreter
Regina is an implementation of a Rexx interpreter, compliant with the
ANSI Standard for Rexx (1996). It is also available on several other
Regina 3.3 binaries
This archive contains pre-compiled binaries of Regina 3.3. The directory
structure is set up to unpack into a base directory such as /usr or /usr/local.
Regina is distributed under the GNU LIBRARY GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE. See
COPYING-LIB for details.

This file explains the features of Regina that are disabled when Regina
is run in "restricted" mode.
Restricted mode is used in situations where you need to guarantee that
the author of a Rexx program is unable to affect the user's environment.
Situations where a restricted mode is applicable include, using Regina as
a database procedural language, or as language plugin for a Web browser.
This directory contains some REXX code that is meant to make a
REXX interpreter trip in obscure (and not-so-obscure) features.
All the files having filetype '.rexx' are files checking for possible
problems. The 'testing' program is just a small rexx script to run all
the tests in sequence.
Note that some of the tests use the program 'rc', which is a small C
program that just exits with a retur
