This directory contains sources and documentation for GNU RCS.
GNU RCS (Revision Control System) manages multiple revisions of files.
RCS can store, retrieve, log, identify, and merge revisions.
It is useful for files that are revised frequently, e.g.,
programs, documentation, graphics, and papers.

This directory contains the test suite for RCS.
Use "make check [options]" to run all the tests.
Including ‘KEEPD=1’ in options inhibits deletion of the test's working
directory for those that pass. Including ‘VERBOSE=1’ makes (some) tests
more verbose and by side effect enables ‘KEEPD=1’.
To run only some tests, e.g., 149 and 941, use:
make check TESTS='t149 t
