Documentation for the Python Imaging Library.

The Python Imaging Library (PIL) adds an image object to your Python interpreter. You can load image objects from a variety of file formats, and apply a rich set of image operations to them.

This package contains the PIL handbook in HTML format.

These files cannot be retrieved from the PythonWorks website[1], as the
website uses a navigation bar and there is no downloadable documentation
bundle. Since the text remains the same and only the layout changed, the
same license applies to the documentation as well.
