dnspython provides both high and low level access to DNS. The high level classes perform queries for data of a given name, type, and class, and return an answer set. The low level classes allow direct manipulation of DNS zones, messages, names, and records.
This package is an empty dummy package that always depends on the package built for Debian's default Python version.

Tutorial documentation More examples It would be nice to have a tokenizer that used regular expressions because it would be faster. Teach the resolver about DNAME (right now it relies on the server adding synthesized CNAMEs) Add TKEY support.
