Scripts to support suspend and hotkeys on the Asus Eee PC laptop
This package adds support to the special features of Asus Eee PC series of
laptops. These include sleep (suspend) and hotkeys such as wireless,
brightness, mute, volume, video output toggle and the 'soft' keys available in
eeepc-acpi-scripts for Debian
The Eee PC support for Debian is under constant improvement. Please also
check our wiki and contribute.
To enable OSD, change ENABLE_OSD to yes in /etc/default/eeepc-acpi-scripts and
make sure you have installed the libnotify-bin package as well as a package to
receive and display the notifications,

* eeepc-acpi-scripts no longer manages lid events. If you don't use a power
manager and want your netbook to go to sleep when you close the lid, you
can configure acpi-support accordingly in /etc/default/acpi-support.
* The default action for the volume keys has been changed to NONE. New
kernels generate XF86 keyboard events that a
eeepc-acpi-scripts (1.1.12) unstable; urgency=low

* Allow wireless toggle to be configured independently of kernel version,
but with the documented caveat that it is still intended for use with
older kernels without rfkill input.
* Document acpi_fakekey alternative key handlers to provide input events
for keys not handled by the current kernel driver.
