NSS module for MySQL
This package provides a Name Service Switch module that allows your MySQL
server act as a name service. It currently features full account support
(shadow, passwd and group).
This software is designed for GNU/Linux with glibc 2.1 or later.
NSS-MySQL should compile with gcc 2.72 and later (including gcc3*).
A Solaris port has begun, but it should be considered as alpha.
If you are upgrading from a previous version, ALWAYS read UPGRADE.
Don't use it unless you can afford to lose access to your system and
be forced to boot from floppy or into single user mode.
libnss-mysql for Debian

Edit /etc/nss-mysql.conf and /etc/nss-mysql-root.conf.

sample.sql file which contains a sample table structure.
Edit your /etc/nsswitch.conf. For example;
