free implementation for RAW decoding - development files

libopenraw is an ongoing project to provide a free software implementation for camera RAW files decoding. One of the main reason is that dcraw is not suited for easy integration into applications, and there is a need for an easy to use API to build free software digital image processing application.

It also has the goal to address missing feature from dcraw like meta-data decoding and easy thumbnail extraction.

This package contains development header files.

Prerequistes to build:

    - a C++ compiler (tested on gcc 3.3 and up)
    - libboost 1.33.1 (Boost.Bind, Boost.Smart_pointer, 
      Boost.String, Boost.Any)
    - libjpeg
    - libxml > 2.5.0 (for the test suite)

  - BUG: re-order commands in bug #14055
  - BUG: IFDFileContainer inside another container was
    failing because relative offsets were not used. Needed for
    formats like RAF and MRW.
  - BUG: testsuite didn't return a fail if a test failed, causing make check
    to succeed even if test failed.
  - BUG: in the use case CIFF (CRW) parsing could crash.
  - BUG: JPE
