JACK Audio Connection Kit (development files)
JACK is a low-latency sound server, allowing multiple applications to
connect to one audio device, and to share audio between themselves.
This package contains files needed for the development of JACK applications
and an API reference.
Welcome to JACK, the Jack Audio Connection Kit.
Please see the website (http://jackaudio.org/) for more information.

/etc/init.d/jackd has been removed.
Former jackd packages provided an initscript to start jackd at
boottime, however, this mode is discouraged by upstream and was
therefore dropped in jack-audio-connection-kit-0.116.2+svn3592-2.
See #565117 (and #527642) for more information.
