The DECstation boot loader
This is DELO, the DECstation boot loader, which you need to boot Linux
on DECstations from storage media. It can also create bootable media
for DECstations on other machines.
This software contains pieces from "SILO" the Sparc Loader,
especially the stringops libs.
Also i took the ideas on how to get the partition offset etc.
from "lilo" the i386 Linux Loader.
The iso9660 code is borrowed from "isoinfo", a tool from the
Delo (and this README) was originally written by
Florian Lohoff (firstname.lastname@example.org) and provided under th
t-rex - create TFTP bootable ECOFF images for DECstations
with REX firmware
/usr/bin/t-rex -k kernel -r ramdisk [-l loader] [-o outfile]
t-rex creates a bootable ECOFF image for a DECstation from a
kernel in ELF format and a (compressed) ramdisk image. After
delo.conf - configuration file for delo
This file, by default /etc/delo.conf, is read by the boot
loader installer '/sbin/delo' and is used by the loader
itself to read its configuration.
It might look as follows:
