SML library for the X Window System
A multi-threaded X Window System toolkit written in Concurrent ML.
This is the first pre-release/alpha version of what we shall call eXene 2.0,
which is based on the "fifth pre-release version of eXene 1.0" (see README-1.0
for details). This version offers a few enhancements to this previous release,
including improved X authorization code, improved support for working with
X resources (eg, .xrdb files), some widget deadlock-avoidance code, and support
[December 25, 1995]
This is a snapshot of the the current state of eXene. Its main
claim to fame is that it compiles under version 107; it is a
working version, and isn't documented. It does have some major
improvements over Version 0.4 (released with SML/NJ 0.93), some
of which are briefly discussed below (you should also look at
the CHANGES file).
The is the fifth pre-release version of eXene 1.0. We know that it compiles
under SML/NJ 109.26+ and that it works on OSF/1, Irix, SunOS, Solaris, Linux
and HPUX. For the most part, the API is the same as the 108.5 version.
