Header files for Gammu

Gammu (GNU All Mobile Management Utility) is program to manage mobile phone.

Gammu can do such things with cellular phones as making data calls, updating the address book, changing calendar and ToDo entries, sending and receiving SMS messages, loading and getting ring tones and pictures (different types of logos), synchronizing time, enabling NetMonitor, managing WAP settings and bookmarks and much more. Functions depend on the phone model.

Currently supported phones are:

* Many Nokia phones. * Alcatel BE5 (501/701), BF5 (715), BH4 (535/735). * Any AT capable phone (Siemens, Nokia, Alcatel, IPAQ).

This package contains header files needed for compiling programs with Gammu and developer documentation.

This directory contains SMS default alphabet saved in Unicode text file
(charset.txt) and table used for converting chars during saving SMS
with default alphabet (convert.txt)


In subdirs there are original ringtones and SMS tones
from various Nokia phones. They're saved in special
binary format used in phone's firmware. You can download them to your phone,
if it has downloadable ringtone(s) - use
"gnokii --setbinringtone file [location]". I tested Nokia 6150 5.22 and it was
OK. I hope, that Nokia will not change this format and you will be able to
use it with new
