rpc.rstatd has been left to rot for some time, and its age started
showed. E.g. it was unable to deal with the large numbers of ticks
reported for multiprocesser machines, or it crashed if a system had
no disks, or if it did not find any, which wasn't surprising as it
looked in all the wrong places, at least for current kernels.
This release changes the data acquisition layer of
rstatd (4.0.1-4+squeeze1) stable; urgency=low
* Non-maintainer upload.
* Patch getdata.c. Work with 3.x Linux kernels. A machine running
kernel 3.x and the rpc.rstatd does not reply to any rup request from
remote or even from local host. This renders the package unusable.
