produce plots and drawings through Xfig's fig2dev in S-Lang

Variants:
SLxfig is a S-Lang module that produces plots, drawings, etc in a variety of formats (.ps, .eps, .png, .jpeg, etc). It accomplishes this via S-Lang scripts that automatically run Xfig's fig2dev and LaTeX to produce the desired output format.

slxfig is a package that implements a number of slang routines that
interface with fig2dev and LaTeX to produce drawings.  Examples
include publication quality plots, etc.

INSTALLATION:  Read the INSTALL file.

DOCUMENTATION: Currently, there is very little documentation.
Eventually it will be in the doc/ directory.  

See examples/slxfigrc for an example setup file.
