Qt-based slow-scan TV and fax
Qsstv is a program for receiving slow-scan television and fax.
These are modes used by hamradio operators. Qsstv uses a
soundcard to send and receive images.
qsstv for Debian
There has been a bug report about unsynchronized faxes, resulting in a
shifted image. This happens when receiving mid-fax. Here is Johan's comment

If you right (or left I don't remember) click on the window, the fax will
automatically take that vertical line as the start of the fax (i.e. it will
