Miscellaneous system utilities
This package contains a number of important utilities, most of which
are oriented towards maintenance of your system. Some of the more
important utilities included in this package allow you to partition
your hard disk, view kernel messages, and create new filesystems.
hwclock and Debian:
When udev is running, hwclock -systz will be called when the RTC clock
device is created. When udev is not running, hwclock --hctosys will be
called during system startup.
In both cases, hwclock --systohc will be called during system shutdown.

Announcing the new curses based fdisk program... cfdisk
cfdisk is a curses based disk drive partitioning program that can
create partitions for a wide variety of operating systems including
Linux, MS-DOS and OS/2. cfdisk was inspired by the fdisk program, by
