3D video player
Bino is a video player with support for a wide variety
of stereoscopic video layouts and formats.
Bino can display monoscopic videos, as well as
videos with the left and right view stored either
in separate streams or displayed side by side.
It can output these videos for several types
of anaglyph glasses or 3D displays.
Bino is a video player with two main features:
* Support for 3D videos, with a wide variety of input and output formats.
* Support for distributed multi-display video, e.g. for powerwalls, Virtual
Reality installations and other multi-projector setups.
Bino is free software, licensed under the terms of the GNU GPL version 3 or
later. See the file COPYING for details.
See http://bino3d.org/ for
bino for Debian
The support for multi-display video is disabled in this package,
as the required library (Equalizer) is not available in Debian.

The free graphics drivers shipped with recent Linux kernel + Mesa + X.org
combinations mostly work fine with Bino. Proprietary graphics drivers work too,
but are *not* required!
However, some free graphics drivers (especially older versions) still have some
limitations. Here is a list of known problems:
- Older drivers for Intel GMA and i965 graphics chips seem to cause Bino to crash.
New in version 1.4.0:
- Support for the new output mode "Left/right view alternating", also known
