Display diagnostic information about i386 compatible CPUs
x86info displays diagnostic information about the CPUs fitted to i386
compatible systems. This includes information on the CPU cache
configuration, speed and supported features.
Some features require the kernel cpuid driver to be available.

Somewhere in the mists of time, there was a program by Phil Karn (KA9Q)
called cpuid, which identified CPU. It didn't get updated very often,
and quickly got out of date. It also didn't do much more than just
x86info was written to succeed Phils work. Initially, it borrowed some
x86info — display x86 CPU diagnostics
x86info [-a] [-c] [-f] [fB-F] [-m] [-mhz] [-r] [?]
[--all] [--cache] [--flags] [--verbose] [--msr] [--mhz]
This manual page documents x86info, a program which displays
