Worker is a file manager much like the Amiga's DirOpus. It can be
controlled with mouse or keyboard. There is no restriction on the number
or type of button functions. Files are recognized by both extension and
content, content by recognizing common bytes in the sample files you show
it. Drag & Drop is supported.
If xli or imagemagick is installed, it quickly previews pictures in the
opposite pane. If x11-utils is installed, xmessage is used to display
some informative messages.

the Debian package of worker. The reason is that the library uses
source code of other libraries directly, but unfortunately outdated
versions which have been obsoleted by their respective upstream.

There is a problem in the configure test for checking large file
support (LFS) (files larger than 2 GB). For some systems, mainly
RedHat 7 but perhaps other, the test will deactivate the LFS code
although the system supports it. This is not a big problem for Worker
but if you want or need to access these large files, you probably wa
