generic proxy wrapper type for Python

mxProxy is an extension package that provides a new type that is suitable to implement Bastion like features without the need to use restricted execution environments.

Given that current Python versions no longer support Bastion or rexec as secure sand-box execution models, mxProxy fills an important gap. It also gives the programmer more control over how and to what extent access should be controlled or not.

Package version:3.2.1-1.1

The python*-egenix-mx* packages supersede the old python-mx* packages
found in earlier Debian versions.

A notable difference:

The modules (e.g. DateTime) now have the prefix "mx." in the
namespace. So, for example, if you have used the old DateTime module
in a program, you should instead use mx.Datetime. E.g.:

    # Old:
    import DateTime

    # New:
    from mx import DateTime

  * Non-maintainer upload.
  * Fix "FTBFS with Python 2.7.3: ImportError: cannot import name
    customize_compiler": add patch from Ubuntu / Colin Watson:
    - Go back to importing customize_compiler from
      distutils.sysconfig. This is needed with Python 2.7.3, and should
      still work with earlier 2.7 versions.
