utilities for finding files--find, xargs, and locate
These utilities find files meeting specified criteria and perform
various actions on the files which are found.
This package contains the GNU find, xargs, and locate programs. find
and xargs comply with POSIX 1003.2, as far as I know (with the
exception of the "+" modifier for the "-exec" action, which isn't
implemented yet). They also support a large number of additional
options, some borrowed from Unix and some unique to GNU.

Some people wish to have updatedb only include mount points which are
automatically mounted by "mount -a", which mounts devices listed in
The following lines may be added to /etc/updatedb.conf to exclude
non-automatic mount points from updatedb. Add before the
"export PRUNEPATHS" line in /etc/updatedb.conf.
