ftape-util

Bleeding Edge floppy tape driver (utilities)

THIS IS THE LATEST (STABLE) RELEASE SO BE FOREWARNED ! A substitution for the stock ftape driver in the kernel. Main reason for packaging was the support for formatting tapes. There is now the newer and better maintained zftape. You have to run a kernel with module support and with the standard ftape disabled before you are able to install this package. If you have a special controller, you have to customize /etc/conf.modules to suit your needs.
