Win95 lookalike Window Manager for X
fvwm95 is a Window Manager for the X Window System, configured
to look like a win95 user interface. Supports Taskbar.
This is fvwm-2.0.43 hacked for a look and feel similar to Windows-95.
The installation process is more or less the same as for the standard
fvwm2, the only difference is that the program name will be fvwm95, and
the modules will be copied to /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fvwm95. Refer to the
file INSTALL for more details.

The debian source package for 2.0.43b has significant differences as
compared to the upstream source designated 2.0.43b. Some modules are missing,
and the taskbar doesn't support plugins. It is believed that the debian
2.0.43b came from the upstream 2.0.43a + a patch that was at one time
available on that site. That patch does not appear to be there anymore.

The Debian fvwm95 package has taken the way of doing configuration directly
from the Debian fvwm2 package, with little or no modification.
Therefore, it makes sense to include the documentation for the fvwm2 package's
system-wide rc files almost verbatim.
Note that everywhere fvwm2 is used below, the fvwm95 user should think
"fvwm95" instead. This means for example that the following translatio
