The Berkeley database routines (debugging library).

libdb is a library for manipulating database files, developed at Berkeley and extended by Sleepycat Software Inc. Its license permits free use in free software.

This development package contains an unstripped shared library compiled with debugging symbols and source files needed by gdb. It contains also an unstripped shared library with profiling and an utility program (db_printlog) to examine the log generated using the debug library.

Instructions on how to use the debugging libraries in a debug session.

In this directory (/usr/lib/debug) are included shared libraries
compiled with debugging symbols, and installed by -dbg binary packages.
These packages installs also the sources used to compile this library
into a directory under /usr/src . Instructions for gdb are embedded in
the shared library, so gdb can automatically list
