xite, Xite, XITE - X-based Image Processing Tools and
Environment
<h2>Description</h2>
XITE is developed at the Image Processing Laboratory,
Department of Informatics, University of Oslo, Norway.
XITE is software written in C for use under flavors of
the UNIX operating system. It consists of

<b>More than 170 programs for image processing.

<b>On-line documentation of routines and programs.

<b>Some images in BIFF format.
</b>

<em>xshow(1)</em> gives access to just about all the algorithms
through a menu interface.
