<H3><A NAME="s4">4. Viewing the Results of a Check</A></H3>

<P>More information on the results of a check can be found in the Properties
Dialog.  Here, the time and date of the most recent check is displayed, along
with the time and date of the next check, calculated from the "Check Every" 
interval you have specified.  In between these two dates, the result of the
most recent check is displayed.  Possible results are as follows:

<DT><B>Update Found</B><DD><P>- The host web server has reported the URL as modified
<P>
<DT><B>Unchanged</B><DD><P>- The host web server has reported the URL as not modified
<P>
<DT><B>Check Not Needed</B><DD><P>- Since the URL was already marked as updated, another check was not made
<P>
<DT><B>Connection Failed</B><DD><P>- There was an error connecting to the URL
<P>
<DT><B>BEST GUESS: Update Found</B><DD><P>- The host web server is not providing modified status
of the URL.  KWebWatch has attempted to deduce whether or not significant
changes have taken place, and apparently they have.
