\fBquickstrip\fP \- Discard symbols from object files.

.SH DESCRIPTION
Discards the entire symbol table from the objet file named.
This is a different operation from the \fBstrip(1)\fP utility, which
maintains a small amount of symbolic information.  The
quickstrip utility is intended to be used for stripping Linux
Alpha kernels, although it works on normal Alpha executables
as well.  Note that the object-file transformations performed
by the normal strip utility render the resulting image incompatible
with the Linux Alpha bootstrap loader.
